I LIKE MY CHURCH BECAUSE . . .

  . . . everyone is nice

  . . . of the friendly fellowship

  . . . it is a caring group of Christian people

  . . . of the warmth of the members

  . . . of the family like feeling you get when you come to church

  . . . of the leadership of council president and members

  . . . of the closeness and working together in the existing members

  . . . of the location

  . . . it is very active – always something going on

  . . . there are lots of opportunities to use talents

  . . . of the small community feeling of this church

  . . . it has a friendly, yet traditional atmosphere

  . . . of the strong importance of music in the services

  . . . of the ability of a small congregation to do the necessary things to keep it alive and going

  . . . of the dedication of the members; their closeness, the friendship and support

OUR CHURCH TEACHES THAT . . .

  GOD is one God in three persons ~ Creator, Redeemer, and Sanctifier.

  The BIBLE is the Word of God ~ God's truth ~ and it shows God in action.

  Jesus Christ ~ the Savior ~ died to save the world from sin.

  The church is made up of those people who sincerely accept Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior and try to model their lives after His.

  A person can be saved, not by his or her own merits, but only by God's grace ~ God's mercy and loving-kindness.

  BAPTISM, a sacrament, establishes new life in a person, remaking that person in God's Spirit.

  The LORD'S SUPPER, a sacrament, is the body and blood of Jesus Christ borne by the bread and wine in

HOLY COMMUNION is given for all for the forgiveness of sins and new life.
